TLC - The Leadership Channel

No matter what type of communicator you are, it helps to surround yourself with people who think the same way you do.  You want people to bounce ideas off of, and not somebody like your grandpa who will tell you "good job, Sonny, you make us very proud".  While that comment is always nice to hear, to get along in a communicative way, joining a group or organization based on your interest.  A few that are worth mentioning include:

Teacher – Post Secondary: This field interests me the most.  I am extremely interested in teaching at the college level, whether it be on campus or online.  “Many postsecondary teachers find the environment intellectually stimulating and rewarding because they are surrounded by others who enjoy the subject. The ability to share their expertise with others also is appealing to many. Postsecondary teachers are expected to grow by 15 percent between 2008 and 2018, which is faster than the average for all occupations. Median annual earnings of all postsecondary teachers in May 2008 were $58,830. “You are a department manager in a mid-sized company that provides technology support services. You have ten employees who are required to maintain a high level of technical expertise and deliver excellent customer service. One of your employees, who has been with the company for two years, is performing at a substandard level and you have received numerous complaints from customers and coworkers. In addition, this employee has displayed confrontational behavior, which has created a hostile environment. You must now meet with this employee and deliver an ultimatum regarding the need for immediate improvement or dismissal.”

TechTV

We thrive on our technology. We feel lost without our gadgets and cannot wait until upgrades or enhancements are made. We often look for better ways to communicate that are convenient and will save us the time of having to meet with someone face-to-face. What could be troublesome, however, is how much we put ourselves out there for the world of cyber space to take advantage of us. Even today, you can try and protect yourself with Identity Theft insurance. Even those old-fashioned people are using technology for entertainment and communication purposes. All of these technological enhancements can be costly, but even in today’s troubled economic environment, we find ourselves still lunging for these enhancements.

The BIN - Blog Information Network

Welcome to the BIN – the Blog Information Network, and welcome to the world through my eyes! This interesting look at everything that surrounds us is to be seen as if you are having a rainy day at home, being lazy, surfing the tube. This blog page is your cable or satellite service; you can just call it Slimsladey TV, if you would like. Each post on this site is a different television station and just as if you would switch your channel using your remote, the station will have a different name and different topic. This is where it all starts, though, on the BIN. What is everyone else’s “dashboard” is my BIN, Blog Information Network. This is where the information starts and is your guide through your surfing!
