The BIN - Blog Information Network

Welcome to the BIN – the Blog Information Network, and welcome to the world through my eyes! This interesting look at everything that surrounds us is to be seen as if you are having a rainy day at home, being lazy, surfing the tube. This blog page is your cable or satellite service; you can just call it Slimsladey TV, if you would like. Each post on this site is a different television station and just as if you would switch your channel using your remote, the station will have a different name and different topic. This is where it all starts, though, on the BIN. What is everyone else’s “dashboard” is my BIN, Blog Information Network. This is where the information starts and is your guide through your surfing!
This blog page is meant to entertain, not offend. It is meant to make a smile happen for someone who has had a rough day. It is meant to reflect on things I have done and things I have seen you do. Remember, I do not judge; I just observe! This page is designed to offer inspiration to those who need it. To those who just could not pinpoint exactly how to say certain things, press “POWER” on the remote and just flip through the channels. It cannot be all fun, could it? Nah, of course not, this page was created as a school assignment, after all. Therefore, I will incorporate some of the things that I have learned throughout my Communications courses. Heck, I might even throw in a few instances from my Business classes (but, shhh! Don’t tell my current professor).
It is you, the casual internet reader, the husband, the wife, the mother, the father, the student, the athlete, the basket case…OK, sorry, got a little carried away with my love for John Hughes movies taking over my brain. Overall, if you can read, this is for you. I want these to be easy things to view, easy to follow along and easy to pay attention. In fact, a wise man once said, “If the message sender doesn't express himself in a way that the message receiver is able to understand, miscommunications may occur” (Faulkner, 2009). I am not here to confuse anybody or to cause anyone grief over having to read or follow something. We are all here to live life as best as we can and there is no instruction booklet. There may be self-help books, but you will need to follow up with that on the HYC (Help Yourself Channel, to be launched later this year with Dr. Phil’s help – keep your fingers crossed!). Stay tuned as new “channels” are launched, lunging important information at your brains that some (OK, most) will consider useless.
